In the Middle East, the field of medicine and skin surgery has witnessed remarkable progress and development thanks to the efforts of a generation of pioneers who have established this specialty and paved the way for future generations with their hard work and determination to succeed, unaware of the challenges and limited resources, driven by their passion for excellence and passion for success.

In MEIDAM we aim to bring together elite pioneers specializing in dermatology, laser, and anti-aging medicine.

Where doctors, nurses, students and researchers from all over the world share their knowledge and experience and will discuss the latest developments and innovations in this field.

During the first MEIDAM 2016 conference, we had the honor to launch the Pioneer Award. As a gesture of appreciation to those who participated and contributed effectively and effectively to establish the rules of specialty in the field of skin medicine and surgery in the region, and to dedicate their experiences to the following generations who were very proud to find this great heritage.

And each year we are honored to continue to honor the Pioneers at the opening ceremony of the annual conference.

Candidate Criteria and Conditions:

1. To be a pioneer candidate who has played a prominent role in promoting the specialty of dermatology at regional & international Level.
2. To be a creative contributor to the development of the specialty of medicine and skin surgery.
3. To have a high and prestigious scientific biography.
4. To have outstanding contributions at the local, regional and international level in research and scientific studies in the field of medicine and skin surgery.
5. To be a prominent participant in scientific and international conferences and events.
6. To be an active member of local, regional and international scientific and medical societies.
7. To have a distinctive contribution in the education and training of medical cadres in the field of specialization.
8. To be one of the pioneers who have played an influential role in establishing and supporting local scientific and medical societies and organizing local and regional conferences and events.
9. The candidate should have a leading role in establishing specialized medical centers and institutions and contributing to the development of health services, which will be reflected positively on individuals and society.

Selection Procedures:

1. The Scientific will examine all nominations received carefully to ensure that the conditions for candidacy are met.
2. The Committee will address regional and international associations if further information is required on the candidates.
3. The committee will announce the name of the winner in the opening ceremony.
4. The MEIDAM Association PIONEER AWARDS COMMITTEE will begin accepting nominations for the year 2024 from 1st February 2024. Nomination Filing deadline will be 31st July 2024.
5. The awardee is voted on by the MEIDAM Awards Committee and announced latest by 31st August 2024.

شروط ومعايير الترشح لجائزة الرواد 
يشهد تخصص طب وجراحة الجلد فى الشرق الأوسط تقدما ملحوظا وتطورا عظيما، وذلك بفضل جهود جيل من الرواد الذين أسسوا لهذا التخصص ومهدوا الطريق للأجيال التالية بعملهم الدؤوب وإصرارهم على النجاح والوصول إلى القمة، غير عابئين بالتحديات و محدودية الموارد، مدفوعين بعشقهم للتميز وشغفهم بالنجاح
وتقديرا من مؤتمر ومعرض الشرق الأوسط الدولى للأمراض الجلدية و طب التجميل لدور جيل الرواد ممن أسهموا بشكل فاعل ومؤثر فى إرساء قواعد تخصص طب وجراحة الجلد فى المنطقة، وكان لهم الدور الأكبر فى إثراء التخصص من خلال نقل خبراتهم للأجيال التالية، وعرفانا منا بدور هؤلاء الرواد و تقديرا منا لعطائهم واسهاماتهم، انطلقت فى العام الماض ى جائزة الرواد والتى يمنحها المؤتمر سنويا لأحد الرواد و نتشرف بفتح باب الترشيح لجائزة الرواد

:أولا: معايير وشروط الترشح
.١. أن يكون المترشح من ال رواد الذين ساهموا بدور بارز فى النهوض بتخصص طب وجراحة الجلد فى المنطقة العربية
.٢. أن يكون من أصحاب الإسهامات المبدعة فى تطوير تخصص طب وجراحة الجلد
.٣. أن يمتلك سيرة علمية رفيعة ومرموقة
.٤. أن يكون له إسهامات بارزة على المستوى المحلى و الإقليمى والدولى فى الأبحاث والدراسات العلمية فى مجال طب وجراحة الجلد
.٥. أن يكون من أصحاب المشاركات البارزة فى المؤتمرات والأحداث العلمية والعالمية
.٦. أن يكون عضوا فاعلا بالجمعيات العلمية والطبية المحلية والإقليمية والدولية
.٧. أن يكون له إسهام مميز فى تعليم و تدريب كوادر طبية نابهة فى مجال التخصص
.٨. أن يكون من الرواد الذين ساهموا بدور مؤثر فى تأسيس ودعم الجمعيات العلمية والطبية المحلية، وتنظيم المؤتمرات والفعاليات المحلية والإقليمية
٩. ان يكون للمترشح دورا رائدا فى تأسيس المراكز والمؤسسات الطبية المتخصصة والمساهمة فى تطوير الخدمات الصحية بها بما ينعكس ايجابا على الأفراد والمجتمع

:ثانيا: إجراءات الإختيار
.١. ستقوم اللجنة المختصة بفحص كافة الترشيحات بعناية للتأكد من إستيفاء شروط الترشح
.٢. ستقوم اللجنة بمخاطبة الجمعيات الإقليمية والدولية إذا دعت الحاجة لجمع مزيد من المعلومات عن المرشحين
.٣. ستقوم اللجنة بإعلان اسم الرائد المكرم لهذا العام قبل إنطلاق المؤتمر
.٤. سيتم تكريم صاحب الريادة الذى وقع عليه الإختيار ضمن فعاليات مؤتمر الشرق الأوسط الدولى لطب وجراحة الجلد
٥. تعلن لجنة جوائز رواد التميز الطبي في الأمراض الجلدية وطب التجميل عن بدء استقبال الترشيحات لعام 2024 ابتداءً من 1 فبراير 2024. وسيكون الموعد النهائي لتقديم الترشيحات في 31 يوليو 2024
٦. يتم التصويت على الفائز من قبل لجنة جوائز رابطة التميز الطبي في الأمراض الجلدية وطب التجميل ويتم الإعلان عنه في أحدث حالاً بحلول 31 أغسطس 2024
